What I Think of Football as A Sport (First draft)

Football is a popular sport which many people seem to be attracted by. Newspapers, magazines and a large number of sport channels on TV frequently cover football matches. Professional football teams will earn a lot of money and famous members in the team are treated as heroes.

It seems a large number of people, whatever men or women, can find football an interesting sport. Mostly because it’s a sport easy to do, what they only need is a football. When they watch a football match, it’s normally hard to identify with the winning team, and this gives them a feel of curious and excited. They enjoy the sport moreover because it brings people together. When a football game happens, whether they’re a football fan or not, they can join the game and have fun. The sport also gets them a well exercise. And they can play the game with their brothers, sisters, friends and even their parents. It turns out that it’s a good sports to keep family relationship and friendship.

However, there’s a negative side to football. It can be a dangerous sport sometimes. Although the players seldom argue with each other, they may also hit against another player hard when chasing the ball. There’re many groups of fans from different football clubs, sometimes, fights will take place between them just because one club wins another. The fights can cause hundreds of injuries. What’s more, it usually takes hours to finish a match, and there’re many parts during a match. So they need to spend a lot of time watching an entire match.

To conclude, I’m personally in favor of football. But I think it would be better if the fans can get along with each other. We can let them know that the result isn’t the most important, and a well-cooperated team will win the game. Besides, it’s fantastic to play football with others and have a common hobby with them.
